2007 Winners
Central Scholarship Winners
Shawn Fox
Shawn is a junior at Mount Aloysius College, majoring in accounting. His GPA is 4.0. For the last three consecutive semesters, Shawn made the Dean’s List. He also tutors students and works in a computer lab.
Tiffany Wetzel
Tiffany is a sophomore at Mount Aloysius College, majoring in accounting with a concentration in forensic accounting. Her GPA is 4.0. Tiffany received an Academic Scholarship from Mount Aloysius College.
Erie Chapter Scholarship Winner
Lisa Bolte
Lisa is a senior at Gannon University, majoring in accounting. She has been involved with the accounting club for the past two years, and has been selected to serve as a Gannon University Ambassador for the 2007-2008 school year. Lisa is also a Paralegal for an attorney who focuses on income tax compliance.
Northeastern Chapter Scholarship Winners
Amy Kelley
Amy is a junior at Keystone College, majoring in accounting. Her GPA is 3.98. Amy is a member of the honors program, and is a volunteer income tax assistance volunteer (VITA). She has made both the President’s List and the Dean’s List.
Mary Margaret Boland
Mary Margaret is a junior at The University of Scranton, simultaneously working on a bachelor’s of science and a Master’s in accounting. Her GPA is 3.91. Mary Margaret is a member of the Business Club, Omega Beta Sigma (women’s business honor society), and Alpha Lambda Delta. She has also made the Dean’s List and received the B. Carl Jones Scholarship.
Tyler Moore
Tyler is a senior at College Misericordia. He is active in intramural sports, Special K, and Big Brother/Big Sister Bowl for Kids. Tyler also is an Accounting Tutor, has made the Dean’s List, and received an academic scholarship.
Ross Schwenk
Ross is a junior at King’s College, majoring in accounting and finance. Ross received a Moreau Scholarship, which is a four - year academic scholarship. He has been on the Dean’s List every semester, and is in King’s College honors program. He also is a member of the accounting association, a peer tutor, and the PricewaterhouseCoopers Accounting King’s College winner.

Pittsburgh Scholarship Winners
Derek E. Jones
Derek is a senior at Duquesne University, majoring in accounting and legal studies in business. He has a GPA of 3.97. Derek is active in the Duquesne University community as a student advisor to and peer educator for, SPIRIT Leadership Program. He is also chair of the finance committee for the Student Government Association. This summer he will be working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the tax department.
Timothy Monaghan
Timothy is a senior at Waynesburg College, majoring in accounting. He has a GPA of 4.0. Timothy is highly involved in the Waynesburg College community as a member of the cross country team, and taking part in the Lamplighters, choir, tutoring, VITA tax preparation, intramural athletics, and Habitat for Humanity.
Brian Douglas Anderson
Brian is a junior at Duquesne University, majoring in business administration with a concentration in accounting and accounting information systems. Brian is the vice president of the Duquesne Asset Management Group, senator with the Student Government Association, a member of Delta Sigma Pi (professional business fraternity), Student Accounting Association, and Integrated Honors Society. This summer Brian is going to be interning with the United States Steel.
Southwestern Chapter Scholarship Winner
Melissa Mikeska
Melissa is a senior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, majoring in accounting and finance. She is Vice President of the Student Accounting Association and Treasurer for Phi Beta Lambda. Melissa has been on the Dean’s List every semester and this summer she will be interning with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
