Multi-Year Scholarships for Undergraduates
College is expensive. If you are a declared accounting major and have taken accounting classes, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) can help you with your college financial needs.
Each year, PICPA awards 20 new scholarships to full-time undergraduate students enrolled at Pennsylvania colleges and universities.
Who can apply
-
Candidates should be full-time undergraduate students majoring in accounting at a Pennsylvania college or university and have completed a minimum of 36 credit hours.
-
Awards are given on a competitive basis to candidates that best satisfy the requirements of high intellectual capacity, leadership potential, and financial need.
Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $15,000 and many can be renewed annually until the completion of a recipient's degree, provided each student pursues a full-time accounting degree and maintains a 3.0 or above GPA. Two scholarships are one-time awards of $1,000 each: the Joseph Taricani Scholarship and the Paychex Scholarship.
| The current application period ended March 14, 2008. |
