What does your job entail?

As a partner, my job entails three related activities: serving our clients, developing our people, and managing the firm's operations. I focus on delivering audit and risk management services to an array of global, national and local companies. My audit responsibilities center on providing assurance on the financial performance measures of our clients' businesses. With our risk management services group, our goal is to help our clients manage financial, technological and operational risks.

Outside interests/hobbies:

As a former college athlete, I enjoy participating in and watching outdoor sports, including golf, basketball and football. I'm also a movie and music buff and am doing more leisurely reading these days. My favorite pastime is spending time with my family, and watching them grow and mature.

What do you like about being a CPA?

I've always felt a connection to the CPA traditions of integrity, respect and trust. Now that the profession is being more closely scrutinized, I see this as an opportunity to show our value to the business community. Another attractive attribute of the CPA profession has been its evolution from a "numbers cruncher" to that of a well-rounded business advisor.
